In her words: “My husband and I live in rural Indiana on his 5th generation family farm. I’m a retired mental health care advocate and a REFIT® fitness instructor who enjoys her days taking care of her family (2 adult children) and three dogs. I’m high risk for Covid-19 so during this pandemic, I didn’t leave our home for 3 months. My husband is also a career fireman/medic and continued working his normal hours on top of farming. He would do the “shopping” on his way home from work so I would have lowered “risk.” I’m extremely thankful for his endurance and support through this pandemic.
I’m also thankful for world-wide technology and the REFIT® founders for finding opportunities for instructor’s classes to continue online. The “unexpected” blessing was that REFIT® Instructors from all over the world were now able to attend my online classes and I attend theirs. These friendships grew stronger while we faced this crisis together. Feeling alone is frightening. But when we can find just one, together there is unbreakable strength.”
