In her words: “The pandemic abruptly ended our school year. It was difficult to wrap our heads around the fact that we wouldn’t be returning until September. I was able to work with students online and by dropping off learning materials at their homes. I loved to see their faces in their windows as they smiled before I drove away.

For me this has been a time of reflection. I am reflecting on my career and family life. I am beginning to think about retirement and what adventures that will hold. Coming out of this pandemic I hope to continue to nurture my connections with family and friends. Our family mantra has long been Luke 12:48. “From everyone who has been given much, much will be required: and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.””
