In Cori’s words: “I am a busy working mom of 3 girls {ages 7/9/11}! We keep a wonderfully chaotic schedule filled with co-parenting, dance, choir, acting, school commitments, tutoring, golf, car dance parties, and so much love. On top of our family, I am the director of the largest Girls Golf Program in the world. I love the life we have built!!!

BUT – truth…. I HAVE mom guilt!!! I am continually striving for a balance of family/work/home/parenting/personal time. I always feel pulled in a million directions and do my best to give 110% in all areas of my life… BUT THEN – we were all forced to stay home?!? What is this? What does this mean?

At first, I was excited to be given a special gift of “time”. My husband, who is an elementary school teacher, and I had to navigate working AND school from home with three young girls that were so used to a go-go-go lifestyle… I was challenged to re-invent how we do things professionally and personally. This time has been weird, interesting, undefined, and a learning experience for us all but this time has also been an unexpected amazing gift that has defined our priorities. My husband AND I are SO grateful for my “jobs” – we are grateful for our time at home with our beautiful girls that provided extra snuggles and development that would have never been possible.

We feel pain for those who are suffering, we cry way too often for the change and unknown, we miss our friends, we miss some of the old chaos, we are scared of the undefined, we are aware of the magnitude of this pandemic, and yet, we have each other and that’s all that really matters.”
