These days during COVID-19 are different than the days we once knew. Kids are home, internet is slow, and toilet paper is being rationed. The school bell in my neighborhood can still be heard in the distance although school is in session now in our own homes. But overall I am blessed and have a long list of gratitudes.
I have taken many family walks, eaten dinner [virtually] with my family in GA and in SC, and FaceTimed with my niece. I have never been invited to so many [virtual] happy hours. My little free library is getting a lot of visitors and my neighborhood is filled with chalk drawings. Family movie nights are a daily occurrence and the garden I wanted to re-plant has been completed thanks to the shelter in place orders we are all living under.
Life is different and it has allowed me the time to find the abundance in my own life and in the little things that I am forever grateful. Because life had gotten too busy to be simply this still.
