Meet Johna Burke

Location: AZ

In her words: “In 2019, I spent more time in the air and in hotels than I did at home. It was a transition (new job) year and amazing, but also exhausting. 2020 was shaping up to be less travel, but still A LOT of road warrior time. Once COVID reared its ugly head, I was living at home instead of living out of a suitcase. I’m blessed to have a nice office (I’m a virtual worker when not at events and meetings) so the ‘work from home’ transition was easy for me compared to many of my friends and colleagues. What I didn’t expect was to find better balance and give pause to appreciate the beauty of my life. One lovely spring day, the doors and windows open to cycle through the fresh air, I caught a whiff of some fragrance that overloaded my calm joy sensory. It was the rose bushes outside my front door. I see them and appreciate their beauty, but COVID allowed me a serene moment to stop and smell the roses. I am grateful and blessed.”
