In their words: “When other states were practicing stay home policies, our state did not. I did not take this pandemic as serious as I should have at the beginning. The first time visiting the store and seeing empty shelves it was shocking. I began thinking how important the people in our lives are to us. I knew we needed to set a better example for our grandchildren.

We have laughed and said we have been married for 52 years and have never spent this much 24/7 time together. We know we love each other and are amazed we still like each other!

We are so thankful for all the front liners – from those that clean, deliver, stock, to medical staff, scientists, and our government workers. May we all live a healthier, caring, loving life!”
