“The Corona virus has put all of us into quarantine and it’s scary, but it has also been a testament to God’s blessings for my family. We are all healthy and safe, and I would never ask more than that. However, we have been given so much more than just our health in this trying time.

Before we knew about the virus, we sold our house and the closing date was going to be in the middle of the shelter in place in Texas. I was very nervous about this and considered that we might not want to be homeless when we should be hunkering down. We moved forward with the sale, initially intending to take a couple of weeks of vacation and then move back into our rental house, do some renovations and sell that house as well.

That didn’t work out as planned, as we couldn’t take a vacation and our renters are an older couple who weren’t able to move out as planned. We were basically homeless. Fortunately for us, my husband George has a client that allowed us to rent her lake home and we are currently enjoying the beautiful house and lake. Our kids have been at the lake with us and we have enjoyed our time very much.

This really couldn’t have worked out any better for us and we feel incredibly blessed that our family is healthy and able to enjoy our time together. I almost feel guilty telling our story, but although I have heard many heart wrenching stories, I have also heard many stories about the good that has come from this quarantine time. It’s refreshing to hear the positive stories, so thank you yo everyone for sharing. What was meant for evil, God uses for good. Genesis 50:20.”
