“The world as we knew it is gone. While that sentence terrifies the part of me that likes stability and familiarity, it also has a big sigh of relief and thrills the rest of me that loves to dream and create. The “normal” that we had gotten used to is gone, but we are still very much here. I truly loved my life (I was also exhausted by it often), yet there is surprisingly little about that old “normal” that I will try to put it back into place as we move through this. I feel more connected to the world now and I will do all I can to keep that going. We are stronger, smarter, better together.

I have found in myself, and have witnessed in others, a new sense of purpose in being helpful, useful, and pro-actively finding new, sustainable and meaningful ways to do what truly matters. I have also cried a lot; and that’s okay too.”
