In her words: “This pandemic time has been a forced pause in life for all of us that may be both a curse and a blessing. The initial curse for us was not getting to meet our two newest grandsons born during this time, but we quickly realized what a blessing it is that our family is healthy, even if we can’t be together, when there are so many other families suffering and losing their loved ones. All around us we are witnessing the blessing of families experiencing quieter times at home to reconnect, even remotely. COVID-19 has been an expensive “reset” to remind us what really matters in life.
