In her words: “I am fortunate to work with business owners on the creation and implementation of their operational strategy. Early in the days of our quarantine, as I reached out to business owners, I was really amazed at their positive spirit. I listened to stories of how these businesses were making small tweaks or repositioning themselves to be of value to their customers during these difficult days. Were they nervous? Sure they were. But they were also excited to try something new. This event seemed to be the nudge that many of my clients needed to try that idea they had rolling around in their heads forever and didn’t have the bandwidth to explore previously. I can honestly say that everyone I spoke with had a “gentleness” and a positivity around them that surprised me. I didn’t hear any “woe is me” stories. I did hear lots of idea generation. They say that innovation usually happens in times of extreme pressure or difficulty. I think when this is all over, we’ll see many new ideas and innovations come to fruition that will benefit society in general.”
