In her words: “Lately I am frequently reminded of Julie Andrews (as Maria Von Trapp) saying “When the Lord closes a door, somewhere he opens a window.” I’m grateful for this opportunity to learn an important lesson: do not focus so hard on the closed door that I do not see the open window. Many new opportunities have opened up for me: more time with my children who are growing up way too fast, reconnecting with my husband now that we aren’t simply our kid’s shuttle service, becoming more creative in how I provide legal services to my business clients, making time to connect with friends and family, revisiting how I set boundaries with my time and availability, and so much more. The window is open my friends, climb through with me!”
